Terms of Service

1. The service

Phuze (phuze.edato.me, operated by edato.me) provides passwordless email authentication for websites and applications: a hosted API, an embeddable login widget, and related developer tooling. Phuze is currently in alpha: registration is invite-only and features may change.

2. Your account

You register a client with an email address you control. You are responsible for keeping your secret key and CLI token confidential; anyone holding them can act on your account. If a key is exposed, rotate it immediately from the dashboard or CLI.

3. Acceptable use

  • Don't use Phuze for anything unlawful, deceptive, or abusive (including spam or phishing).
  • Don't attempt to breach, probe, or overload the service or other tenants.
  • Don't resell the service as your own without our written agreement.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Your end users' data

User records created through your integration belong to you. You can export them at any time. You are responsible for your own privacy obligations toward your users; we process their data only to provide the service (see the Privacy Policy).

5. Fees

Current plans and prices are listed at /pricing. During alpha, billing is handled manually by email. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.

6. Availability and warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. During alpha we do not offer an SLA. We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but to the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages; our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

7. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your client at any time (via the API or by contacting us). We may terminate accounts for violation of these terms, with notice where practical. On deletion, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced by email to registered clients at least 14 days in advance.
